You spend more time with nature, you do more realise what you miss more...

Since Corona started, I slowly started losing interest in this materialist world. Money is no more exciting factor. The bank balance is not making me excited. I am least concerned about the future but more worried about the current time.

When you spend time with nature, you realise that the humans are worst creatures on the earth. They are most selfish. We are damaging our mother earth without realising what harm we are doing it. The bigger cities are getting worst and worst. On the name of development, we are harming nature. Knowingly-unknowingly, we are creating worst atmosphere for our kids and future generation.

I am frustrated. I can see things but I can't do anything. I can change my behaviour but cannot dictate the same to my near and dear ones.  Its like somebody have put a tape on your mouth, you want to scream but you can't. You want to run, but you are tied with the rope. Inside I am not happy. I want to be at my home. I want to go back to my home - the home where once there was a ground to play. It was safe to run on streets. There were basic issues like electricity but we were close to earth and not damaging it. We were using bicycle than motorcycle. It was ok if there is no TV. We as kids knew how to keep ourselves busy.  We never asked our parents to keep us busy. we didn't bother by no electricity or internet. For each situation, we used to have games to keep ourself busy.

Currently, the things are far better at small villages compare to Big cities. They are still following  their culture. Still villagers growing their own feed. It is less damaging than cities.  In Villages, you can see things clearly which are 10 KM away unlike Cities where smog hovering upon us and you can't see things which are 2 KM away.

Why this is happening to Cities?

Pretty clear. All the advancements are allocated to big cities. Good electricity supply, clean water, good roads (it used to be at least), hospitals, schools, shopping malls etc. exist in cities. Of course, everybody wants it, and hence people are migrating to cities. Big residential towers are erecting which is making cities dense. High population always leads to big problems. Its like a cage and you have to manage within that cage. Instead of spreading or disperse the population, it is getting denser and denser.

Is there any solution for it?

Yes, it is in our school book. Once Mahatma Gandhi said "The future of India lies in its villages". The government has program called 'Smart Cities'. Why not to start with 'Smart Villages'. When you have all basic necessary things available reliably in Villages, why someone would like to move dirty cities. Because of Corona, many organisations allowing their employees to work from home. When you get reliable electricity, water and high speed internet, people will stay in villages. You get better air to breath. This change will also bring change to village's economy. People will grow things in village and sell in villages. It will bring prosperity of villages.
